St Chad's Church of England Primary is a welcoming school at the heart of our local community. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, ambitious and broad, helping pupils build secure foundations in literacy and numeracy while developing knowledge across a range of subjects. We plan lessons that build step by step, with clear expectations and high-quality teaching. Children are supported to learn effectively through a variety of activities, guided practice and regular opportunities to review and improve their work.

We work closely with families and recognise that partnership is essential. Parents are valued as partners in their child’s education, and we encourage open communication and involvement wherever possible. At St Chad's, we also prioritise pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour and personal development, ensuring children develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive both in school and beyond.
